Crooked Stick was the name of a street on a big hill near my home, that I used to rollerblade and skateboard down

Hopin' was me trying to make a song sound wishful. I quote Jorge Ben Jor's Caramba! Galileu da Galileia during middle bit.

April was originally called Spicy Bookstore, it's supposed to feel like being warm on a cold day. It was cold and I wanted to be warm.

Competition is a song about memories. Ryan Sneed used to sing a song on one of the pianos at school where he'd go "Little boy, wake up! It's time for the competition" and that used to flip me out so I just took that word and tried to work around it. you gotta get ready for the competition

Ole Au Papa is a cover of a song from a Folk Songs of Samoa and Tonga album by The Nuku'alofa Wanderers, I think I may try it again.

Bluebonnet's are the state flower of Texas.

Dancing Beetlejuice is song I did while thinking about Beetlejuice dancing.

Better Than Heaven was recorded in early winter 2019 about reincarnation being a more positive thought than heaven to me.
